HOMEMADE KELP ENERGY BARS

     

Ingredients:


  • ½ oz dried kelp or nori
  • 2 c lightly toasted or soaked & dehydrated almonds, hazelnuts, or raw sesame seeds or a combination)
  • ½ c dark maple syrup

 

Directions:


  1. Preheat oven to 325° F
  2. Powder the kelp/nori in a blender or grinder
  3. Add the nuts, seeds, & coarsely grind with the sea veggies
  4. Pour mixture into bowl
  5. Add syrup & stir it into nut mix
  6. Spread onto parchment paper-covered cookie sheet, pressing out until ~1/4" thick
  7. Bake for 20 minutes
  8. Cut into squares while still warm
  9. Cool before eating (if you can)
